Hello Everyone

 

Here is an update on the chamber.

 

 

Chamber membership plaques and year tags.

At the request of members will be doing away with the plaques and replacing them with static window decals.  We are currently having the decal designed and made. They will be here in mid March.

 

You asked for it and it is coming!

Customer Service training.

Years back our chamber sent over 100 people though the Q customer service training program and we won a state award for having the most people from a small town take the training. 

People and businesses really enjoyed the training and wanted it again. 

Thanks to grant funds from the Travel Oregon Rural Tourism Class we will be able to offer it again.

The chamber is working with the area tourism group, Travel Lane County and Travel Oregon to offer customer services training.  There will be basic customer service training plus a special section to educate staff about attractions, FAQ's and other important information on our area. 

We will release more details by April.

 

Membership

Our membership has been steady at around 80 members the last three years.

 

Best of Oakridge

Once again we will have the Best of Oakridge awards at our yearly dinner.

Tickets go on sale and Ballots will go out in April

Dinner is May 15th

 

We are looking forward to a great year.
