The Oakridge-Westfir Chamber of Commerce provides its members with many key opportunities for visibility and recognition. Our visitors guide is distributed state wide at visitor centers, to all chamber members, motels, hotels, realtors, and new residents and businesses. The visitor guide is a proven resource that has brought many people to our community to spend money. Chamber members are also eligible to place brochures and business cards at our visitor center in the Green Waters Park rest area that is open all year 7 days a week, where we accommodate many walk-in visitors each month. Our visitor center is the only one in Lane County open 24/7 365 days a year. We have received many comments in our visitor guest book at the booth about how happy people were to be able to get information on the weekend. Members can put their marketing material in a book at the Middle Fork Ranger Dist Office 4 miles West of Oakridge. We are also promoting our community on the web where even more opportunities exist. The Chamber offers its members the opportunity to sponsor events.
The chamber meets monthly. Our meetings are the third Monday of the month most months. January and February meetings are the third Tuesday due to Monday holiday’s. Meeting times vary. Most are held at noon, others are evening meetings. Our meetings are a great opportunity for members to get together. Each meeting will feature a guest speaker. Meeting locations change monthly.
Your Chamber membership gives you access to a variety of business education programs and business support organizations that can help new, expanding or existing businesses develop strategies to tackle tough challenges, increase productivity and understand the ever-changing issues that affect your organization. The Chamber’s alliances with local, state and federal business support agencies help you get the answers you need to succeed.
Great atmosphere and a fun time for all!
